Direct flights from Japan to Southeast Asia have expanded to 13 cities, but South Korea has opened direct flights to more than 10 cities | Travels in Asia






If you fly directly from Japan to Southeast Asia, you can reach 11 cities at present, but in mid-February, Thailand Vietjet Air will open the Kansai-Chiang Mai route. In addition, Vietnam Airlines officially announced that it will resume the summer schedule of the Narita-Da Nang route after late March. Direct flights between Japan and Southeast Asia will be expanded to 13 cities in seven countries.

Southeast Asian cities with direct flights to Japan are as follows.

Currently, whether ANA will resume flights to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Yangon (Myanmar) from Narita Airport, which was operated by ANA before COVID-19, has not yet been determined. Also, regular direct flights from Japan to Laos have yet to materialize.
