Clothes for reception staff on Double Ten National Day designed by Zhou Yuying

Celebrating the Double Tenth National Day (October 10, which is equivalent to the founding day of the Republic of China), the reception staff’s costumes were unveiled. Justin Chou, the first cutting-edge Taiwanese designer to hold a fashion show at New York Fashion Week in the United States, received an invitation from the National Day Double Ten Festival Chinese Culture Conference (10) I designed the costumes for the reception staff on January 10, which coincides with the founding day of the Republic of China Correspondingly. The “Taiwanese color” is printed on the fabric, which combines elements such as the cloud leopard (cloud leopard) that once lived in Taiwan, Taiwan’s unique species of Babe, and Hanfei cherry.
At the press conference held on the 3rd of the Chinese Culture Conference, the “Goodwill Service Team” of the private Ming Chuan University (Taipei City, northern Taiwan), who served as the reception staff for this year’s celebration, acted as a model. Women’s clothing is mainly white. The clouded leopard-inspired leopard print comes in a bold color scheme inspired by the Formosan barbet.
The slogan for this year’s Souten National Day is “Shutoei Koku yo ga tomogyo (Protect the Land, Together You and I)”. From this outfit, you can see a spirit that combines flexibility and fortitude. For example, skirts with irregular cuts sway gently when walking without feeling heavy. Shell buttons accent the back of the bodice. Zhou Yuying, who is in charge of the design, explained, “The shell buttons are reminiscent of armor. While endowing the image of protecting the country, the overall line of the clothing gives people a warm and soft feeling.” It is in progress. Mr. Zhou also said that he tried to convey a “lively” and “young” image in the clothing of the reception staff, just like the impression Taiwan has on other countries in the international community.
Li Heqing, secretary-general of the China Culture Conference, said, “Receivers play a very important role in the celebration of the Double Tenth National Day. Therefore, since last year, the China Culture Conference wants to consolidate the strength of Taiwan’s design, and let the receptionists from many universities All can wear a uniform attire. From the appearance of the reception staff working at the ceremony, Taiwan I hope that many people around the world, including Taiwan, can experience the design power and aesthetics of Taiwan.”
As for shoes, in cooperation with the Footwear Research Institute Foundation, we have customized Aso leather shoes (ASO) for female employees and TRAVEL FOX soles for male employees. Considering the movement of reception staff on the day of the celebration, the sole, surface and seams were designed with comfort and aesthetics in mind.
