Why do you have to order “chicken nuggets” when you go to Taiwan? | Foot Bag Lab

Recently, special sauces can be selected for a limited time.
I always order the “bbq sauce” though. Maybe that’s not why it tastes so good. You can get a “sense of security” from this taste, which is also associated with childhood memories.
By the way, I was talking about this McDonald’s chicken nuggets the other day when I was talking to a Taiwanese living in Japan.
As is the case in many countries around the world, “McDonald’s” (McDonald’s Taiwanese symbol) is familiar to Taiwanese in their daily lives. But my friend told me that there is only one kind of chicken nugget sauce in Taiwan. This is also a taste that Japan does not have. “sweet and sour sauce“yes.
Obviously, this taste is very familiar to Taiwanese.
Surprisingly (maybe it’s just me), a friend was not happy with the chicken nugget sauce in Japan, saying it was 100 times better than Taiwan’s. So much so that when I went back to Japan, I bought this sauce and took it home.
I’m not a Mac fanatic, but I can’t help but feel offended by such comments. I actually had a chance to travel to Taiwan the other day, so I squinted at a small restaurant that sells freshly made minced pork rice and steamed buns.
In the store, we found a variety of other lineups that are not available in Japan, but we couldn’t order a set meal. I can’t shake the feeling, “Why would I choose a Mac when I’m in food country?” That’s what I put on the tray and hand it over as a matter of course.

“sour vinegar” means “sweet and sour sauce“.
It can be confirmed that the ingredients include garlic, spices, etc. in addition to fruits such as apricots and peaches. As for the nugget, it seems to be no different from the one we are familiar with.
So how does it taste? Sorry to drag you here, but I’m not going to write about the smell here. It just tastes like sauce, but it tastes like sauce. For someone like me who is not a foodie, it would be weird to criticize a taste that is familiar to people who live in that area.
Just like BBQ sauce has a special taste to me, I guess that’s something Taiwanese can’t change. Next time you come to Taiwan, I recommend you to try this special taste. Because I think it’s an experience where you get unbeatable value.
Also, Mac in Taiwan seems like everyone drinks corn soup.
end.
