A must in Vietnam, pho actually refers to the flat rice noodles used to make this dish. If you like good sandwiches, you must try Banh Mi. Thanks to the bread, this quintessential dish is actually a French-meets-Vietnamese fusion. Meat sauce and margarine are used as a spread for this sandwich, which is then topped with toppings such as pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, pork belly and pork floss, and cucumbers. Every bite is a textural delight and leads to the most amazing delicious experience.

You can buy a lot from Vietnam, but topping the list are Vietnamese silks, lanterns, pottery and the ao dai, one of the country’s many traditional garments.
