Pre-arrival documents required for travel to Korea

Here are the documents you must ensure before you travel to Korea.
1. Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) or South Korea visa
If you are a visa-exempt foreign visitor, you need an approved Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) before you go to Korea. The K-ETA is valid for two years from the date of approval.Fee per application 10,000 won ($8.42) And there is no refund even if rejected.You may see a list of countries currently eligible for K-ETA here.
Foreigners who are not covered by K-ETA can apply for a Korean visa. A tourist visa is a single entry and is valid for three months.
2. Digitally verifiable vaccination certificates
Bring your digitally certifiable vaccination certificate before departure. South Korea recognizes any vaccine in the WHO EUL.
As of January 3, 2022, vaccination certificates issued to individuals who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are valid for six months from the date of the second dose. Travellers must obtain a vaccination certificate with a booster certificate for the certificate to remain valid after this (ie it will not have an expiry date).
Travelers can upload their vaccine records to Q-Code and use the QR code to enter the country.
3. Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result
All travelers, regardless of nationality, must present a negative certificate RT-PCR test or Professionally Administered Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) result issued within [48/24] departure time.
Only children under the age of 6, crew members and Korean nationals with a quarantine exemption certificate are exempt from this. You must also bring your booking confirmation for PCR testing on arrival (more information below).
4. Arrival confirmation of RT-PCR test appointment
All fully vaccinated travelers are required to undergo RT-PCR testing despite quarantine-free travel Within three days after entry From Incheon Airport.you must pass Safe2GO Pass Site And bring your booking confirmation to South Korea.
5. Travel insurance (optional, but highly recommended)
While purchasing travel insurance is no longer mandatory to enter South Korea, it is still a good idea to keep yourself covered.We recommend buying Travel insurance with minimum coverage of ₩30,000,000 ($25,284.47), which includes medical expenses related to COVID-19. Bring a physical copy of the above insurance.

All arriving passengers can undergo health screening tests, including temperature scans, questionnaires and COVID-19 testing. Travelers will also need to submit their documents, including proof of vaccinations. To simplify this process, travelers are advised to visit the Q-code website and register their personal information and vaccination certificate on the Q-code system.
Travelers may also need to download Self-service inquiry mobile applicationwhich will serve as their daily health record for 14 days.
If you are staying in Korea for eight days or more, you will need to attend self-administered rat On the sixth or seventh day of arrival. (As of March 10, 2022, this rule supersedes the previous requirement for RT-PCR testing in healthcare settings).

At press time, there are no restrictions on domestic travel in South Korea. Once you are in the country, you will find that most parts of Korea are open for tourism.
South Korea requires everyone to wear masks in closed environments and on public transport. Those who fail to properly wear a mask to cover their mouth and nose will be fined up to 100,000 won ($84.28). Social distancing is also to be expected.
Restaurants, bars and other entertainment facilities in South Korea are open with restrictions.
