Take a speedboat to a wonderland in the middle of the sea! This is probably something I just saw in a movie before I visited VinWonders Nha Trang in Vietnam. The theme park covers an area of 4,200 square meters and has so many attractions that it is impossible to visit them all in one day.

VinWonders Nha Trang is a paradise in the center of the blue ocean, with thrilling rides, underwater museum, water park, zoo, giant observation wheel, Vietnamese restaurants and more.

VinWonders Nha Trang: A theme park in the sea of Vietnam

Adjacent to the gorgeous VinPearl resort is the theme park VinWonders Nha Trang. At 10.30am we arrived at the port opposite VinPearl Resort, where a sleek speedboat was waiting to take us to the island. We crossed the sea to the island. Park admission is VND 750,000 (nearly Rs. 2626), including all rides and shows. This means you can take as many rides as you want. The theme park is also known as the Disneyland of Nha Trang.

We enjoyed a ton of rides at the theme park, from giant sky chasers, 360-degree hurricanes and swing carousels to crashing cars and vertical drops. But my favorite ride is the alpine roller coaster. This is a two-seater mountain coaster that rides through the island’s lush greenery with stunning ocean views. We also got a panoramic view of the island from the huge ferris wheel.

The park is home to the only zoo in Nha Trang

The theme park is the only zoo in Nha Trang that houses majestic and endangered animals from all over the world such as white tigers, giraffes, lions, African camels, ring-tailed lemurs and hippos. Beautiful pink flamingos also inhabit the pond inside. The park is also home to many migratory birds.

We walk under sharks and stingrays

The marine ecosystem of VinWonders will amaze you with its magnificence. We wandered through the underwater museum and spotted sharks, stingrays and other aquatic life. Inside the museum, we literally walked under the sharks.

The park also hosts water shows such as a fish feeding show and a mermaid show. In addition to these shows, visitors can also watch performances by local dance troupes. After sunset, when the park is illuminated with golden lights, there is a musical fountain show.

We enjoyed the morning view from the ferris wheel so much we went back after sunset for the night view. There are also some local Vietnamese restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and fashion shops on the island.

Nha Trang has a stunning coastline, and Vinpearl Resort is the most popular attraction here. In the city, you can also indulge in the popular Vietnamese mud baths.

So, when are you planning to visit Vietnam?
