Hong Kong people can now visit and stay in Malaysia visa-free for 90 days due to Malaysia’s revised policy for Hong Kong passport holders.
They can stay in the country for 90 days instead of the current 30 days, providing easy travel for those who want to spend more time in the Southeast Asian country.

according to a Bloomberg The Hong Kong government has approached the Malaysian government to seek change, the report said. Officials familiar with the developments have been told that a formal announcement will be made on July 27, the report added.
The move is a response to the 90-day visa-free travel that Malaysians currently enjoy in Hong Kong and aims to create closer ties between the two places. Hong Kong Chief Executive Lee Kar-chao will arrive in Malaysia on July 27 for a week-long visit. As well as strengthening ties between Hong Kong and Malaysia, his agenda also includes discussing investment opportunities in the financial hub.
