Virgin Atlantic’s next big sale is about flights back to a plethora of holiday-worthy island destinations
Public holidays are beautiful, and Australia is currently experiencing the usual autumn holidays – and loving them. A big side effect: they always make everyone want to enjoy more than just a day or two of rest. Yes, you’re probably in holiday planning mode right now, and Virgin’s latest promotion hopes to help.
Forget about staying local, or even just traveling across the country. These preferential fares are all about overseas island vacations. Bali, Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu, here you come – because those are the destinations airlines are currently offering cheap return flights to.
The PEI airfare sale runs until 11:59pm EST on Monday, April 24 – unless sold out earlier. While it starts at $429, it gets you there and back. In that particular example, that’s how much a Gold Coast-Bali airfare would cost.
Other specials include Adelaide to Bali from $489, Brisbane to Fiji from $489, Melbourne to Samoa from $729, Sydney to Fiji from $469, Perth to Vanuatu from $909 – all of these All are economy class fares.
If you’re wondering when you’ll need to travel, it depends on the route, but the promotions are mostly around October-December 2023 and January-March 2024. For some destinations, you can in May and June 2023 (and also to avoid the start of Australian winter).
As always when it comes to flight sales, you’ll want to get your act together fast if you’re hoping to do an island trip in the next year or so.
