Vietravel Airlines plans to increase the number of domestic and international flights and launch a ticket promotion program in the upcoming summer to meet the growing travel demand during the peak period.
According to the company, it began preparing summer flight schedules and resources in late March to serve more domestic and foreign passengers.
It will also provide passengers with more flexible and convenient options at more reasonable prices during peak seasons such as National Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1).
The company will continue to maintain the frequency of operating routes and increase flights on key routes that are attractive to tourists in summer such as Hanoi-Danang; and routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Da Nang, Quy Nhon and Phu Quoc.
Vietravel Airlines has successfully launched two international routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok with 14 weekly flights.
The airline also coordinates with its partners to operate charter flights connecting Daegu in South Korea and Hangzhou, Changzhou and Kunming in China to Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa province).
For the promotional program of Vietravel Airlines, passengers will have the opportunity to buy discounted air tickets priced at VND 8,000 – 9,900 (US$0.34 – US$0.42), excluding taxes and fees.
