Vietnam Entry Requirements You Should Know Before Traveling

With Vietnam now open for travel, there’s never been a better time to immerse yourself in the country’s diverse culture and heritage, incredible cuisine and majestic natural wonders. Vietnam Entry Requirements

Pre-departure documents for Vietnam
All passengers must meet the following Vietnam travel requirements:
- Passport valid for at least six months
- A negative COVID-19 test result, or:
- RT-PCR takes within 72 hours before arrivalor
- rapid antigen retrieval 24 hours before departure
- tourist e-visa – if applicable
- A round-trip or connecting ticket to continue to another country
- Proof of valid medical/travel insurance of at least $10,000 (including coverage for COVID-19 treatment)
- register to PC-Covid application
notes: Children under the age of two do not need to be tested for COVID-19.

Arrived in Vietnam
At the time of writing, there are international commercial flights to Noi Bai International Airport exist Hanoi (he), Tan Son Nhat International Airport exist Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), and Da Nang International Airport (dad).
If you are coming from Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, you can also travel to Vietnam by land. For this reason, it is recommended that you travel by private transport. As of this writing, only two trains operate between Thailand and Vietnam and between Singapore and Vietnam.
All international travelers will be subject to document checks and standard health screening protocols upon entry.

Social distancing and mask wearing are required, especially in tourist spots in Vietnam. Make sure you follow the Ministry of Health’s 4K message: Kaozhuang (Face mask), district (disinfect), car (distance), and Contuta (no gatherings).
Foreign tourists need to self-monitor their health 10 days after arrival, especially if they will stay longer. Be sure to keep your passport with you and always have the PC-Covid app installed on your phone.
