Update on Indonesia Travel Policies During Covid-19
Indonesia Covid-19 Task Force (Covid-19 Handling Task Force) announced a new policy for domestic and international travel effective March 8, 2022. Below is a summary of the main points.

All passengers must comply with health protocol Indonesia Covid-19 Task Force proposes:
- Use a three-ply cloth mask or a medical mask that covers the nose, mouth and chin;
- Change masks regularly every four hours and discard old masks in designated places;
- Wash your hands frequently with water and soap or hand sanitizer, especially after touching objects that others have touched;
- Keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres from others and avoid crowds;
- No phone calls or face-to-face conversations are allowed while on public transport (land, rail, sea, river, lake and air); and
- Eating and drinking are not permitted during flights of less than two hours unless the individual is required to take medication for health and safety.
Below is a summary of the latest travel policies:
International travel through entry points in Bali, Batam and Bintan

- Bintan: Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport, Bintan Port and Tanjung Pinang Port
Proof of vaccination requirements
Travellers must provide a card/certificate (physical/digital) proving they have received second dose One COVID-19 vaccine At least 14 days before departure. The card/certificate must be verified on the website of the Ministry of Health or e-HAC (Indonesia Electronic Health Alert Card).
Covid-19 Testing Requirements

Quarantine Requirements

- Exemptions from quarantine or regulatory requirements (approval of exemption applications) may be granted to: Foreign travelers and their families who are the heads of foreign representative offices on duty in Indonesia.
- Foreign travelers who meet one of the following conditions may be exempted from quarantine or supervision by implementing a travel bubble system and/or strict health protocols: Diplomatic/official visa holders; Official/state visits by foreign officials above ministerial level and their entourages ; travelers entering Indonesia through travel corridors; delegations of G20 member countries; and esteemed distinguished travelers.

Covid-19 Testing Requirements
Passengers who have received a second or third dose of Covid-19 vaccine are not required to provide RT-PCR or rapid antigen test results. Passengers who have only been vaccinated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and those who have not been vaccinated for health reasons must provide a negative RT-PCR test within 3×24 hours before departure or a rapid antigen test within 1×24 hours before departure.
Quarantine Requirements
Domestic travelers are No isolation required.

Passengers using pioneer modes of transportation (Pioneer mode of transportation) are exempted from all travel requirements to and from remote and less developed areas; travellers using land transport within an urban agglomeration area are exempt from Covid-19 testing requirements.
