“International exchange program to promote understanding of Japan” is an international exchange program promoted by the Japanese government, invited/dispatched, or conducted online exchanges. Among them, JENESYS is an exchange program for the Asia-Oceania region. We aim to increase understanding of Japanese politics, economy, society, culture, history, and foreign policy through people-to-people exchanges. The purpose of this program is to strengthen Japan’s diplomatic base by sending personnel to actively communicate with the outside world.
In addition, the project was planned and operated by the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) as the executing agency at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the SAARC Secretariat as the funding target.
