1. Keep up with the latest Thailand travel restrictions

First, find out what the three current plans travelers can use to enter the country and what the various travel requirements are before booking a Thailand vacation.

Note: Effective April 1, 2022, Thailand has lifted the requirement for pre-departure testing (PDT) for travelers. However, some airlines that transit through other countries may still require a negative pre-departure test to allow passengers to board.

5. Upon arrival, you will need to go to your booked accommodation and undergo PCR testing.

If your second test also comes back positive, you must first notify public health authorities. If you have mild symptoms or no symptoms, you may be allowed to self-isolate in your accommodation. If not, you may be transferred to a community isolation center for treatment and observation. If your symptoms worsen, you will be admitted to the hospital.
