For those familiar with Bali adventure travel, you’ll recognize Para Fly Bali as the operator who used to work at Munggu Beach near the Atlas Beach Club.

Now, at Biaung Beach south of Denpasar, Para Fly Bali has more room to move and better wind conditions to fly and they are making the most of it!

Para Fly Bali is the only company on the island that offers this experience.

Operations manager Ayu Pujawati told reporters, “We have launched a paramotor (that is, a) motorized paraglider. In contrast, a paraglider needs a cliff to take off, and a paramotor can land and take off anywhere.”

The company has the support of the local community and hopes that by moving to Biaung Beach, they can help bring more tourism to the area.

Pujawati assured reporters that the project operates according to the highest safety standards, all parameters of the engine are fully inspected three times a week, and only well-trained paraglider pilots will take guests into the sky.

The experience is proving increasingly popular with international tourists. “The enthusiasts are mostly thrill-seeking Australian and European tourists; we will also reach out to local enthusiasts,” Pujawati said.

There are just a few conditions to keep in mind before booking; the experience is weather dependent and participants must be over 6 years old and weigh no more than 100kg. Participants must be in good health and sober.

Paramotor experiences at Para Fly Bali range from 5 minutes to 15 minutes and cost between 600,000 and 1,200,000 IDR.
