Created to showcase Japan and life during the Edo period (1603-1867), this large amusement park is one of the most interesting and impressive attractions in Japan.

Fire Station Museum
Run by the Tokyo Fire Department, this free museum in Tokyo is dedicated to centuries of firefighting and disaster prevention in Japan. While the basement has the most amazing collection of vintage fire trucks in Japanese history, kids might prefer to explore the third floor.
Here, they can dress up as little firefighters, explore the siren-equipped cab of a fire truck, and sit in a helicopter for virtual rescue missions. After exploring a large-scale diorama featuring emergency fire demonstrations with lights, sound and video, kids can practice their firefighting skills in the Simulation Corner.
