To strengthen ties between Taiwan and the Indian tourism market, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has launched a new initiative – the Taiwan Expert Program. This online learning program aims to educate and assist Indian travel professionals on Taiwan’s myriad attractions, positioning it as a top destination for Indian tourists.
Dubbed ‘TIME FOR TAIWAN’, the program consists of nine comprehensive modules covering a wide range of topics, from cultural insights and visa procedures to transport options, accommodation options, trip planning, MICE incentives, Indian restaurants and venues. Through engaging content and interactive webinars, participants will gain valuable insights about Taiwan.
After successfully completing each module, participants will undergo a rigorous Q&A session to assess their understanding and unlock the next module. Those who score more than 70% will eventually receive the title of “Taiwan Expert” certified by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
Certified Professionals are eligible for exclusive rewards and events sponsored by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, including the chance to win exciting prizes such as family-visiting trips to Taiwan, electronics, and Taiwan travel hampers.
The program is designed to provide Indian travel professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively promote and sell Taiwan as a premier travel destination.
