Taiwan will distribute travel incentives worth NT$5,000 (S$218) each to 500,000 tourists from May 2023 in a bid to lure foreign tourists.

The Singapore office of the Taiwan Tourism Administration said via a Facebook post on April 24 that travel rewards will come in the form of digital cards that store money or accommodation vouchers.

The campaign, called “Taiwan Lucky Land,” will start on May 1, 2023 and will run until June 30, 2025.

Any foreign independent traveler who does not hold a Taiwanese passport and intends to stay in Taiwan for 3 to 90 days will be open.

Travel awards are not available for travelers traveling on agency-arranged tours or cruises.
