Taipei (Taiwan News) – Taiwan Lion Group Travel Agency announced on Wednesday (March 29) the opening of a new stylish dining space “Island133” in the Songshan Cultural Center, which houses a Taiwanese edible flower restaurant and art exhibition. and Creative Park.
The soft opening requires an online appointment and will be open to the public from April 12 to May 7. The opening show is curated by Ling Zongyong, and the venue will continue to launch exhibitions and seasonal exhibitions. Cook meals on a regular basis.
With the theme of “From Root to Table”, the exhibition examines 133 delicious herbs and seasonings from different angles, including their evolution, geographical uniqueness and unique flavor. Major exhibitors include Michelin-starred chef and long-tail restaurant bar owner Lin Mingjian, “Father of Taiwan Fern” Guo Chengmeng, “Plant Hunter” Hong Shen-chien (Hong Xinjie).
In response to the exhibition, curator Ling and chef Lin Tingyou designed three dishes for the restaurant, among which “navigation” with sea urchins, figs, and seaweed slices as appetizers, and Houttuynia cordata called “forest” There are hearts and ferns on the plate. The restaurant also offers cheese and natural wine in the afternoon and edible plant-based snacks in the evening.
