In East Asia, JAL announced that it will launch a Haneda-Doha route in summer 2024. This will be Japan Airlines’ first direct flight to the Middle East.

In China and South Korea, new routes are being opened or resumed one after another.

Japan’s JAL will launch the Haneda-Doha route to the Middle East in the summer of 2012, which is the first of its kind among Japanese airlines.

On July 19, All Nippon Airways resumed the operation of the international flight facilities in Terminal 2 of Haneda Airport for the first time in three years and three months. There are 5 (2) flights from Haneda to London, Shanghai Hongqiao, Hong Kong, and Taipei Songshan departing from Terminal 2.

In addition, the ANA Group’s new international airline brand “AirJapan” announced on August 2 that it will start operating routes connecting Narita and Bangkok on February 9, 2024. The main target is Asian inbound demand, 6 round trips per week. We plan to provide 13 kinds of in-flight meals, mainly Japanese cuisine.

JAL announced on July 18 that it will start operating the Haneda-Doha route in the summer of 2024, with seven round-trip flights per week. All Nippon Airways will be the first Japanese airline to operate direct flights to the Middle East.

All Nippon Airways’ consolidated financial performance for the period from April to June announced on July 28 showed a net profit of 30.686 billion yen. Air China resumes Hiroshima-Dalian/Beijing route

Hiroshima International Airport, which operates Hiroshima Airport, announced on July 25 that Air China will resume flights from Hiroshima to Dalian/Beijing on August 25, with two round trips per week.

This will be the first route to mainland China in about three years and six months, and the third route that Hiroshima Airport will resume operations after Taiwan and South Korea from 2023.
