Special prizes are waiting for you! Cristina Frasco urges overseas Filipinos to become ‘tourism ambassadors’
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco encouraged overseas Filipinos to promote the Philippines as a tourist destination.
Speaking to the Filipino community in Germany, Frasco urged Filipinos to become “tourism ambassadors” for the country and stand a chance to win special prizes.
The government earlier launched the Bisita Be My Guest (BBMG) program to encourage Filipinos who invite foreign friends to visit and explore the wonders of the Philippines. Promotion period is from January 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024. The first draw will take place on May 11 this year, the second on December 15, 2023 and the third on May 10, 2024.
“We thank the Filipino community in Germany for coming together to launch our Bisita, Be My Guest program! ❤️💚🇵🇭” she wrote on Instagram.
“We can all be tourism ambassadors for our beloved countries and win amazing prizes while we do it! 🥰🌏” she said.

Frasco traveled to Berlin, Germany to represent the country at the world’s top travel fair. The tourism executive is trying to lure tourists to the country’s stunning destinations, from Boracay and Palawan to Banaue and South Cotabato.
