Works from the second grade of elementary school!Thorough interview on EC site “shota+shop”

On the EC site “Shota + Shop”, which sells Shota’s works,30% of proceeds will be donated to organizations working on ocean litter issues and supporting future children, with the remainder going towards Shota’s dream of having a solo exhibition at aquariums around the worldIt is an operating system that takes into account the wonderful circulation of money. I asked Shota what merchandise was on sale, and what the editorial department was curious about.

When I saw the EC website, there was one section that caught my attention.watercolor reproductionandcanvas artThere are two types of art for sale, but what’s the difference?

Shota

Canvas art prints painting materials on canvas and creates watercolor reproductions based on high-resolution read data of the original painting. Watercolor reproductions are resistant to fading and are said to retain color for 30 years.

I’ve found that the image quality is higher and better quality for watercolor reproductions. In addition to artwork, there are also T-shirts and bags for sale, but the design is Shota-kun’s idea?

Shota

I discussed with my mother to decide on the design.I love t-shirts with fish on the side.

I’m looking for a reusable bag with 12 colorful deep sea creatures lined up with their names written in English. Although it is difficult to choose, which one of the T-shirts, bags and other products does Shota-kun recommend?

Shota

My recommendation is the reusable bag.Thin, durable and easy to use.

If it was Shota-kun’s recommendation, I would want it even more (laughs). T-shirts, bags, etc. are described as “made to order”, but does that mean that you don’t keep inventory from an environmental standpoint?

Shota

Yes, we try not to keep inventory due to environmental considerations and storage space considerations.

editorial department

Are there any plans to increase the number of new artworks and merchandise in the future?

Shota

I currently have no plans. However, I hope to increase the number of items bit by bit in the future!

I’m busy preparing for my solo exhibition and doing homework!Na Xiangta’s recent situation

Since this year, I have packed my luggage at home almost every weekend to prepare for my solo exhibition. (I have a lot of homework!)
My goal is to complete 30 works, but there are about 15 completed paintings.
I hope this is an opportunity to think about the issue of marine litter through my drawings! I think.
