Thailand has been identified as a strategic target market for Radisson Hotel Group, driven by the country’s growing domestic affluence and enduring popularity among international travellers, with Bangkok ranked as the world’s number one hotel between 2016 and 2019 Most Popular Cities². In 2022, the number of foreign tourists in Thailand will be 11.15 million, and as the tourism industry continues to develop, it is expected that the number of foreign tourists will exceed 30 million in 2023.

Radisson Hotel Group has experienced significant growth in Thailand over the past 12 months, signing seven new hotels with more than 1,300 rooms, including the recently opened Radisson Blu Resort & Suites Sheng Resort and Spa and Lewit Hotel Pattaya. Radisson Individual member and member of the upcoming Radisson RED Hotel Patong Beach, Phuket and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bangkok Ploenchit.

The introduction of the mid-to-upscale Park Inn by Radisson brand into Thailand marks the group’s sixth brand in Thailand. The group’s rapid expansion in Thailand will be supported by the Bangkok-based business unit, which has tripled its headcount since opening in 2021 to provide more relevance and support to its owners, guests and staff.

Park Inn by Radisson, the group’s mid-to-upscale brand, offers owners a value-engineered real estate proposition that delivers unique experiences and makes guests feel good through smart design, public open spaces and well-appointed amenities.

Scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2024, Park Inn by Radisson Don Mueang, Bangkok will have 89 modern rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, an outdoor swimming pool and a 140-square-meter function room. The hotel is ideally located just 10 minutes away from Don Mueang International Airport, serving millions of domestic and international travelers.   • Radisson RED Hotel, Patong Beach, PhuketExpected to open in the first quarter of 2024, it will mark the Radisson Hotel’s debut in Thailand. The 390-room upscale lifestyle hotel will bring an interesting twist to the traditional social space, allowing savvy travelers to unwind and take in the hustle and bustle of their destination. Conveniently located in the heart of Patong, just minutes from the beach, retail malls, restaurants and vibrant nightlife, the Radisson RED Hotel, Patong Beach, Phuket invites guests to explore the lively attractions of Phuket.
  • Radisson Resort Phuket Mai Khao BeachScheduled to open in the second quarter of 2024, it is strategically located on the island’s north-west coast with direct access to Mai Khao Beach, an 11-kilometer stretch of sand overlooking the Andaman Sea. The 222-room upscale resort will offer a range of spacious guestrooms and spacious two-bedroom suites, including those with private pools or outdoor pool access.
  • Radisson Hotel Bangkok PloenchitThe new flagship hotel of the Radisson brand will open in the second quarter of 2024 in Bangkok’s most dynamic downtown area. The 133-room modern upscale hotel is located in the bustling Ploenchit business district, surrounded by high-end fashion shopping malls, restaurants and embassies.

Following a major renovation of the former Bangkok Fort, the new upscale Radisson Blu Hotel will offer guests timeless glamor and a relaxing environment as Bangkok’s leading upscale hotel.
