[ad_1]

Discussions in the Middle East became: What can China offer to all countries in the region? This is after the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China closed in the capital Beijing on October 16, 2022. Chinese President Xi Jinping successfully maintained his position as the country’s top leader indefinitely, after which President “Xi” announced the so-called “New Era Diplomacy”. This means opening up new fronts and relationships for China in every country and region in the world, especially in the Middle East. Since China is fully concerned with developing countries, the Middle East is an ideal platform for China to disseminate President Xi Jinping’s ideological development model and implement President Xi’s vision of “building a community with a shared future for mankind”. Humanity”. This is what China has shown in recent years that it is no longer a minor power in the Middle East, but has become a real major player in the region, willing to participate in all aspects to achieve its interests. We note that all countries in the Middle East have no Exceptionally benefiting from the presence of China to balance relations with Washington and the West, especially by using China as a bargaining chip in dealing with the United States and Europe. The most obvious example of this is the Gulf rulers bargaining with the United States and Europe to A deal to sell arms from Beijing to their country as their alternative. Here, China is trying to compete with the US for influence in the Middle East and North Africa. This is where China successfully mediates between Saudi Arabia and Iran, the region’s largest proved in one of the complex disputes.

China is working hard to upgrade its own development strategy and integrate it with the development strategies of other countries in the region. China is also trying to offer an alternative to US security and diplomatic hegemony in the Middle East. One manifestation of China’s growing influence in the region is its insistence on greater engagement in the region’s security and political spheres, notably through two initiatives (Global Security and New Security Architecture for the Middle East) launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping Two initiatives. On June 24, 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping presided over the so-called (Global Development) High Level Dialogue via video, attended by leaders of 17 countries, including 3 leaders of Middle Eastern countries Eastern region, they are the President: (President of Algeria Abdul Majid Teboon, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi), all of whom have consulted with President Xi Jinping on development cooperation plans , and reached an important and broad consensus. On September 8, 2022, (the third session of the China-Arab Reform and Development Forum) was held. The focus of the meeting and discussions was (promoting the implementation of the global development initiative of Chinese President “Xi Jinping”). The representatives attending the meeting discussed (strengthening China-Arab development cooperation , to build a China-Arab community with a shared future) put forward valuable opinions and suggestions.

Here we find that the “Global Security Initiative” proposed by Chinese President “Xi Jinping” is closely connected with the “Global Development Initiative” also proposed by “Xi Jinping” in September 2021. This is based on the firm belief of Chinese leaders that “development is the main key to solving all problems in the world”. Seventeen Arab countries expressed their support for the “Global Development Initiative” proposed by President Xi, and 12 Arab countries joined in to form the so-called “Group of Friends of the Global Development Initiative”. My initiative (Development and Security) is Chinese President Xi Jinping’s practical program for reshaping global governance, and his explicit call for “building a community with a shared future for mankind” and the “Belt and Road” initiative. This is the greatest real benefit that all countries in the region can derive from China and its role in the region.

China has also used its veto power more than a dozen times in the UN Security Council to thwart Western initiatives against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The MENA region is also dotted with Chinese-built or funded ports. Everyone benefits from these Chinese development projects, especially as the amount of Chinese investment in the region increases through China-led industrial parks, ports and free trade zones, linking East and West, from the Arabian Gulf to the Mediterranean.

In recent years, diplomatic visits between Middle Eastern countries and China have continued, bringing both sides together through many international forums and trade fairs. In addition, cooperation between China and Middle Eastern countries in non-traditional security fields is also increasing. In addition to the joint efforts of China and regional countries in the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic and climate change issues, the joint anti-terrorism training and field cooperation between China and regional countries have also increased. The signing in 2021 (China-League of Arab States cooperation initiative in the field of data security) emphasizes cyber and digital security.

Here, mention must be made of (China’s new security system in the Middle East), which China announced on September 21, 2022, at the “Second Session” through its Foreign Minister, then Chinese State Councilor “Wang Yi”. Middle East Security Forum” was held in the capital. Beijing, titled: “Building a New Security Structure in the Middle East”. With the strong support of the China Institute of International Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, it invited more than 70 participants from the Middle East and North Africa region security professionals, including national leaders and former diplomats. The slogan of the second China and Middle East Security Forum is “promoting the construction of a new security architecture in the Middle East and realizing a regional security community”. At the opening ceremony of the forum, Chinese State Counselor and Diplomat Minister “Wang Yi” affirmed China’s eagerness to seize the opportunity to implement the (global security initiative) proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, to cooperate with countries around the world in the Middle East and the international community (to promote the construction of a new security architecture in the Middle East). China through its Foreign Minister “Wang Yi “The proposal clearly announced its proposals on Middle East security, including (four points) implementing the newly proposed Chinese strategy (adhering to the new security concept) based on common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security, and consolidating its leading position. For the Middle East countries ( rather than a player invading the region as China says), with China’s commitment to the goals and principles of the Charter of the United Nations with all countries in the region, and to promote dialogue on regional security between China and the region with transparency. This is not the same as China The same as proposed by President “Xi Jinping” in his speech at the summit of China and the GCC countries in December 2022, inviting President “Xi Jinping” to all regional countries to join (Global Security Initiative), and his assertion that China and the “GCC The countries “Gulf countries” should be partners in common security. In my view, this amounts to China’s real involvement in the security affairs of the region.

Taken together, we find that twenty years later, Chinese President Xi Jinping’s diplomacy in the new eraday The National Congress of the ruling Communist Party of China will be held in Beijing on October 16, 2022, in line with the vision of China and the Arab states to jointly promote the multipolarization of international powers and the democratization of relations. International affairs, jointly promote the establishment of a more just and democratic new system, focusing on calling for respect for the “United Nations Charter” and other recognized rules of international relations, upholding the principles of sovereign equality and non-sovereignty – interference in internal affairs, the right of all countries to participate in international affairs equally, regardless of size , strong and weak, rich and poor, coincides with supporting the rights of peoples of all countries to gain freedom, independence and sovereignty in their own land in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions. Here, we can see that these visions reflect the common demands of developing countries, and together with China in the new era, contribute to safeguarding the common interests of developing countries and strengthening the just cause of world peace and development.
