Phuket Hotel Association launches online travel sales to support local talent

Phuket Hotels Associationa not-for-profit hoteliers organization focused on promoting a positive image of Phuket, invites the public to participate in its “Absolutely Fabulous Online Travel Deals” – an online auction with great prizes that will provide scholarships for talented young people in Phuket. This is part of the Phuket Hotels Association Benefits (PHAB) 2023 campaign, a major fundraising Supporting Thai students to study the hospitality industry in Phuket, Thailand.
Bidding for the online auction is open until noon on the 15th (Thailand time, UTC+7 hours)day Awarded in Dream Destinations around the world in June. Participants can bid on spectacular five-star accommodation and exciting experiences generously donated by sponsors in destinations such as Dubai, Sydney and the Maldives, as well as Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui – all potentially at a substantial premium to the highest bidder. In addition to hotel accommodation, the auction includes a variety of exciting activities such as yacht charters, golf, tennis, surf lessons and gym memberships.
Proceeds from the auction will fund at least 20 hospitality scholarships and internships, specifically benefiting Phuket’s young residents who would otherwise not be able to fund their education. To date, the association has successfully sponsored more than 30 students studying hospitality and tourism in Phuket.
