The most popular international holiday destinations this year are Bali, Egypt, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal and Bhutan, according to The Telegraph of India. A nine-day trip to Vietnam costs Rs 1.5 lakh per person, while a 10-day trip to Egypt costs around Rs 1.8 lakh per person. Dipankar Manna, IRCTC representative in Kolkata, said this resolved all issues starting with air tickets, hotel accommodation and food.
On the other hand, a six-day trip to Thailand and Dubai cost Rs 49,000 and Rs 85,000 respectively. While travel to Singapore and Malaysia costs Rs 1.04 lakh. Salt Lake City businessman Anup Singha and his wife Bhaswati have booked a trip to Egypt from Kolkata on October 30.

His wife stated that her husband was involved in Durga prayers in their neighbourhood, so they could not even consider leaving Kolkata before Dashami. In fact, they will leave for Egypt a week after the puja. They’ve been saving and planning for this trip for a while, and they’d be traveling in 2020 if there hadn’t been a pandemic. She further revealed that they were going on trips to Cairo, Hurghada and the Nile.
Fellow Bangladeshis Attracted by These Mysterious Destinations

When discussing the reasons for this unexpected demand in Egypt and Vietnam, the IRCTC said Bangladeshis were fascinated by the mysterious Egyptian culture and history at an early age. Stories of pyramids and mummies are common in Bengali literature. So, because of the economic stability, people resumed frequenting after the lockdown, so they chose Egypt.
On the other hand, Vietnam has become very famous due to the development of national tourism infrastructure. The country is cheap and welcoming to tourists. Offers delicious meals and first-class accommodation. The place also offers various views. There are mountains and beautiful coasts.
