Last year, the number of Japanese tourists visiting the Philippines surpassed 500,000 for the first time. The first quarter of this year also increased by 15.75% compared with last year. Behind this is the increase in the number of Filipinos visiting Japan, as well as the increase in air seats between Japan and the Philippines. From June this year, Cebu Pacific will use the Airbus A-330 (436 seats) to operate flights from Narita to Manila.

In order to introduce new destinations to the Philippines and discover new packages, the Philippine Department of Tourism/Philippines Promotion Bureau decided to cooperate with Cebu Pacific Airways to organize the first large-scale study trip “I Travel Philippines 2017”. Announced July 25, 2017.

“This time 50 participants will experience the Airbus A-330 between Narita and Manila and travel to the Philippines,” announced.

3. Large-scale study tour “My Travel Philippines 2017”
50 travel agencies, media and bloggers/instagrammers will join the “I Travel Philippines 2017” large-scale study tour to be held from 2-6 August 2017. The Philippines, made up of more than 7,000 islands, is as attractive as the number of islands. To showcase their attractions, participants will be divided into 5 destinations, visiting Palawan, Bohol, Boracay, Bicol and Iloilo provinces. All destinations are about an hour’s flight from Manila.

Palawan Island: An island said to be the “last undeveloped area” of the Philippines. The island was voted Best Island in 2017 by Travel & Leisure magazine. http://www.travelandleisure.com/worlds-best/islands#intro.

Bohol Island:Known as a diving destination for its diverse underwater life, Bohol has recently seen an increase in the number of luxury resorts and is gaining popularity as a beach destination to enjoy its white sand beaches. The Chocolate Hills, which consists of more than 1,700 hills, is also known for its stunning scenery. A new international airport is scheduled to open in 2018, further raising the profile.
