Mohun Bagan Super Giant: ISL champions unveil home jersey ahead of new season
Indian Premier League champions Mohun Bagan held a grand event in Kolkata to unveil their new jersey for the new season. Mariners owner Dr. Sanjiv Goenka was in attendance for the jersey launch, along with two new additions: Indian midfielder Anirudh Thapa and Australian striker Jason Cumming Adams (Jason Cummings).
During the unveiling ceremony, Dr Sanjeev Goenka emphasized the importance of the jersey, which symbolizes the club’s close connection with its fans. He said: “This jersey is a symbol of unity, creating a strong bond between the players and passionate supporters of the Mohun Bagan Super Giants family. Together we will continue this journey of excellence and achievement.”
Following their victory over Bengaluru FC in the ISL final, the club underwent a name change, dropping the prefix ‘ATK’ and adding ‘Super Giant’ as a suffix. As well as the new kit, Mohun Bagan unveiled a new logo earlier this month featuring the new club name “Mohun Bagan Super Giants”.
