Courtney Mills doesn’t have international health insurance but fans have been asked if they can donate to her recovery as her bills have skyrocketed to more than £2,400
An Australian DJ and OnlyFans model has been hospitalized after falling down stairs in Bali.
Courtney Mills, who lives on the Indonesian island popular with digital nomads, is asking her fans to donate so she can continue her treatment.
After the concussion, she was initially told “everything was fine” but she felt something was not quite right.
When she visited a private hospital, scans showed bleeding on the right side of her brain.
According to the GoFundMe page, Courtney did not have private health insurance and her medical bills began to skyrocket.
Lauren Fankhauser, who organized the fundraiser on her behalf, revealed the DJ’s difficult situation.
“Unfortunately, my friend has no insurance and the bill has exceeded $3,000,” she wrote.
“If you’re familiar with the Australian music scene, you probably know my friend Courtney Mills, a talented DJ who has brought joy and happiness to countless people.
“I ask for your help to support them during this challenging time. She needs to stay in hospital overnight for monitoring and have more scans in the morning.
“Any donation you can save will go towards paying for their medical care and potentially saving their life.”
Lauren implored people to consider contributing and spreading the word about Courtney.
“Your help and support means the world to my friends and their families. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your consideration,” she added.
Courtney had previously been involved in a motorcycle accident in Bali with her friend Matthew David.
A separate GoFundMe page created at the time in October 2018 raised more than $35,000.
The internet star was released from hospital following the accident, but Matthew had to undergo surgery for his injuries.
Courtney is originally from Melbourne, Australia and has been living in Bali for the past six months.
She recently created a travel account ‘bambi.bali.travels’ – where she posts her recommendations for the island’s best restaurants, bars and beauty services.
“My name is Courtney, I have lived in Bali for the past 6 months and would love to share my experiences,” she wrote on social media.
“Helping make your trip to Bali the best it can be.”
