Hosts Liverpool beat Everton 2-0 to end their four-game winless run in the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo scored from either side of the half-time break to seal a landslide victory for the Reds.

Remarkably, this is Liverpool’s first win of 2023. Their last win was against Leicester City (2-1) on New Year’s Eve.
