Pancake shop “JS PANCAKE CAFE” will sell New Year’s limited sweets including “Nishio Matcha Strawberry Daifuku Senbei” from December 28 (Wed).
New Year’s limited pancakes using Japanese-style matcha appeared
At the pancake shop “JS PANCAKE CAFE” proposed by the clothing brand “JOURNAL STANDARD”, New Year’s limited sweets will be released.
“Nishio Matcha Strawberry Daifuku Senbei” is a Japanese-style pancake that celebrates the beginning of 2023, using plenty of “Nishio Matcha” grown in Aichi Prefecture and served with red bean paste.
Pancakes rich in black syrup, topped with matcha mascarpone cream from Nishio City in Aichi Prefecture, red bean paste, strawberries, and whipped cream. Soft cowhide is covered from above to look like Strawberry Daifuku.
Red bean paste goes well with matcha. If you eat it on pancakes, the moderate bitterness of matcha mascarpone cream and the sweetness of red bean paste complement each other, giving it a more Japanese flavor.

Here’s a dish that celebrates the beginning of 2023 using Japanese matcha.
The mascarpone cream topped with a large amount of “Nishio Matcha” from Aichi Prefecture, the strawberries are lightly wrapped with whipped cream, red bean paste and cowhide, which looks like a strawberry Daifuku.
Vanilla ice cream, pancake jersey milk ice cream, strawberries, and matcha mascarpone cream are combined to create a mini parfait shape.
A matcha latte where you can enjoy the elegant aroma and rich taste of Nishio matcha. It complements the Strawberry Matcha Daifuku Pancake and Pancake Sundae.
