Hong Kong presents 135,000 free round-trip air tickets to Southeast Asian residents

Hong Kong is offering 135,000 free air tickets to Southeast Asian residents as part of a campaign to stimulate tourism after COVID-19 travel restrictions were lifted.
The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) announced earlier the launch of the “World of Winners” campaign, offering 500,000 free tickets Nearly three years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the city has reopened for tourists from around the world.
The move is part of a $2 billion “Ni Hao Hong Kong” tourism revitalization plan aimed at reviving Hong Kong’s tourism industry. As part of Hong Kong’s aviation industry’s anti-epidemic measures, the AA started sponsoring free air tickets in 2020.
Tickets will be distributed by Hong Kong airlines, including Cathay Pacific, HK Express and Hong Kong Airlines.

AA will present 135,000 tickets In the Southeast Asian market, including the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday.
The campaign will give away round-trip economy class air tickets as well as special offers and discounts on hotel accommodation, shopping and entertainment in Hong Kong.

To apply for free tickets, applicants must visit World of Winners website, where they must enter their departure point and select a Cathay Pacific or Hong Kong Airlines ticket. Residents of Southeast Asia must then follow further registration instructions with their airline of choice.
Following the Southeast Asian market, the event will continue to enter Northeast Asia, Mainland China and other regions.
