The information was announced by the tourism department at the expert opinion gathering meeting on night tourism products held on August 2.
Hanoi has successfully created night tourism products such as Thang Long Imperial City Night Tour, Hua Lu Prison Site, Vietnamese Literature Museum, and Night Walking Street.
These tourism projects have brought rich experience to tourists and created the unique characteristics of Hanoi tourism. However, some deficiencies have also been exposed. Some pedestrian streets are inefficient in operation and there are not many products to choose from. Therefore, the construction of night tourism products should be carefully calculated to ensure the professionalism of the products.
Phong Quang Thanh, vice chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that night economic tourism activities should attract the participation of multiple departments and groups of people.
He said that it is necessary for cities to introduce appropriate policies for these activities, so as to develop special tourism products such as cultural tourism, night food tourism, and shopping tourism.
Thang said that some night tourism projects can be built in the old city combined with food tourism to attract tourists.
Nguyen Anh Tuan, director of the Hanoi Tourism Development Institute, agreed with Thang’s point of view. He said that in addition to preferential policies, Hanoi should also consider expanding night tourism products, such as developing tourism services on both sides of the Red River and formulating night tourism plans. There are plans to build modern shopping centers near the city center, such as underground shopping centers in many countries.
Dang Huong Giang, director of the Hanoi Tourism Department, said that he plans to hold a seminar on the development of Hanoi night tourism products, launch an online review of “Welcome to Hanoi Night”, and launch more night tourism products. in the future time. /.
