Emirates launches first A380 flight to Bali

The world’s largest international airline, Emirates, will deploy its iconic A380 aircraft to Bali from June 1.

The new two-class Emirates A380 service will replace one of two daily services to Bali currently operated by two-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline’s inaugural A380 flight, EK368, will depart Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 03:25 local time and arrive at Denpasar International Airport (DPS) at 16:35 local time. Return flight EK369 will depart Bali at 19:40 local time and arrive in Dubai at 00:45 local time. All times are local time.

Emirates launched a daily non-stop Dubai-Bali service in 2015, adding to its regular service to Jakarta which began in 1992. To date, the airline has operated more than 49,000 flights between Indonesia and Dubai, carrying more than 9 million passengers. Emirates currently serves Indonesia with 28 weekly flights to Bali and Jakarta and, through a partnership agreement with Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air, offers connections to an additional 29 domestic cities through the two gateways.

On the Emirates A380 two-class aircraft, passengers are offered 58 lie-flat seats in business class and 557 wide reclining seats in economy class.

Emirates continues to expand its A380 network to meet growing travel demand around the world. The airline’s flagship aircraft is currently deployed to 41 destinations, with the potential to expand to nearly 50 destinations by the end of the summer.
