Emirates launches codeshare agreement with Batik Air
London – Gulf carrier Emirates recently launched a codeshare partnership with Batik Air, gaining 25 points in Indonesia through a one-ticket-one-bag policy, expanding customer choice and connectivity options.
Under the newly activated agreement, Emirates has placed its code on eight routes operated by Batik Air, which fly via Jakarta to Balikpapan (BPN), Denpasar (DPS), Medan (KNO), Manado Old (MDC), Padang (PDG), Surakarta (SOC)), Surabaya (SUB) and Makassar (UPG).
In addition, through the interline agreement, Emirates customers can also easily access 17 other domestic points in Indonesia via Jakarta and Denpasar, traveling to cities such as Seaside (LOP), Semarang (SRG), Sorong (SOQ) and more.
