The new FFS will be operated by ECTS, a joint venture between Embraer and CAE, at the new CAE Las Vegas training center near Henderson International Airport.
In addition to the FFS in Nevada, there are six Phenom Series simulators operating in Dallas, Texas (USA), Burgess Hill, London (UK) and Guarulhos (Brazil).
Nick Leontidis, CAE Group said: “We are delighted to see our partnership with Embraer strengthened with the addition of the new Phenom range of simulators to our training network, a first for Las Vegas, This is a strategic location for both our clients and the business President – Civil Aviation. “Through the four locations of Phenom FFS, we are bringing our innovative approach and advanced simulation technology closer to our clients’ operating aircraft. Together with partners like Embraer, we are expanding our network and increasing capacity to meet the growing demand for business jet pilots. “
One of the best-selling light jets in the world, the Phenom 300 is capable of reaching Mach 0.80 and is equipped with an impressive array of avionics, including the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alert System (ROAAS), emergency descent mode, coupled Go around and so on.
There are currently more than 700 Phenom 300 aircraft in operation around the world.
