The recently concluded Trans Arunachal Drive (TAD) traversing 2,000 kilometers across the state took the entourage through several of the area’s unspoiled hotspots.The drive is organized by the Arunachal Tourism Board in association with Mahindra, writes oriental magic, and lead the driver on the journey of a lifetime, exploring magnificent terrain. What’s more, the trip helped explore new areas with future tourism potential.

TAD has helped bring to the forefront several destinations such as Rima, Lishu, Bomjir, Geku, Maryang, Kambu and Gori that make for some of the most amazing drives and road trips. Currently, traveling in Arunachal Pradesh is a daunting task as many of these remote destinations remain undiscovered due to connectivity and commuting issues. However, this destination is home to areas such as Tawang, Itanagar, Mount Mishmi which attract many out-of-state tourists who come here in search of nature.
Given the growing interest in tourism to the Northeast, the state has the potential to become a tourist hotspot in the next few years. Many people flock to destinations here to explore some of the sights, and this recently concluded road trip brings more of them to the forefront.
Improving connectivity for boos travel in arunachal pradesh
Currently, one of the best ways to reach Arunachal Pradesh is to fly to Dibrugarh or Guwahati in Assam (or take a train to Dibrugarh), from where there is an option to take a taxi to Arunachal Pradesh. However, Home Minister Amit Shah announced plans to build an airport in Arunachal Pradesh to simplify travel and allow exploration of more destinations in the region.
