Delta resumes flights from Venice to New York and Atlanta


Beginning March 31, Delta Air Lines will resume summer flight service from Venice Marco Polo Airport in Italy and connect New York-JFK International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Georgia, U.S. starting May 16.

Daily flights will be operated in partnership with joint venture partners Delta Air Lines, KLM and Alitalia. Upon arrival in the United States, Italian passengers will be able to continue their journey with connecting flights to some 200 destinations in the United States, the Caribbean and beyond.

“Italy is the third largest traffic market between Europe and North America, transporting more than 5,500 passengers per day,” commented Frederic Schenk, Regional Sales Manager South Europe Delta.

“Traditionally, summer is the travel time for Italians, who also come from the Veneto region and neighboring regions, and they start exploring the United States and the American continent. Instead, there are many Americans who choose Venice and its regions to travel to Italy, and Delta every year Both support the local economy and benefit the arrival of American tourists, and that makes us proud.”
