COMO The Halkin Brings Bali to Belgravia With Afternoon Tea

COMO Hotel’s flagship property, COMO The Halkin, presents an exclusive Afternoon Tea, bringing the flavors of Bali to the heart of Belgravia with the hotel group’s signature COMO Shambhala Cuisine. Located in the classic Halkin’ Bar, Executive Chef Ruben Briones has curated an almost guilt-free afternoon tea menu featuring savory and sweet treats, COMO Shambhala juices and teas, all complemented by London’s only afternoon COMO Shambhala wellness experience. healthier!

Launching on April 22, the new Afternoon Tea, available daily from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, will take diners on a wellness journey, from hot towels infused with COMO Shambhala’s signature scent upon arrival, to fragrance-infused hot stones Bringing diners to the shores of COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali by recreating the ambiance and scents of the vibrant COMO Shambhala resort.

Inspired by COMO Shambhala’s holistic wellness concept that combines healthy eating, expert nutrition and delightful cuisine, Afternoon Tea was developed by Chef Ruben to deliver pure, unadulterated pleasure. Drinks include the signature COMO Shambhala Ginger Tea, Lean and Clean Greens to build lean muscle and boost energy and immunity, and Blood Builder, designed to purify the blood, improve circulation and boost mood.

Each dish at COMO The Halkin Afternoon Tea is inspired by recipes from COMO Shambhala’s gourmet book The Pleasure of Eating Well, available for afternoon tea reading with you or for purchase at The Halkin. Dinner includes a range of tasty and savory dishes, from sweet corn and basil soup, ‘real toast’ with seeds and avocado, to spiced crispy king prawns and marinated chicken sticks, rice salad and pomegranate seeds. This is followed by a selection of mouth-watering guilt-free desserts, from cucumber jelly and apple and avocado sorbet to whole-wheat banana waffles with peanut and yogurt sauce, and mango and passion fruit cheesecake. A particular highlight is the Zen Garden, made of protein rocks, chocolate stones and matchcakes!
