Club Med plans to open ski resort in Japan in December : Travel Weekly
Club Med’s Club Med Kiroro Grand all-inclusive ski resort in Hokkaido, Japan is scheduled to open in December.
The 266-room hotel is just a 3-minute cable car ride from its sister hotel, Club Med Kiroro Peak, which opened last year.
Club Med Kiroro Grand will offer guests access to 23 different levels of ski and cross-country skiing across the Asari and Nagamine mountains, with unlimited ski-in/ski-out privileges, lift passes and group ski and snowboard lessons. accommodation.
In addition to skiing, the resort will offer other winter sports activities as well as cultural excursions, including a day trip to the coastal town of Otaru.
The hotel will be home to Club Med’s first traditional Japanese onsen, featuring a health lounge with a sauna and hot stone rooms, a Club Med spa, an indoor pool and several Japanese restaurants.
Club Med Kiroro Grand and Club Med Kiroro Peak join Club Med Sahoro Hokkaido, Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido and Club Med Kabira Ishigaki Okinawa as part of Club Med’s Japanese all-inclusive portfolio.
Club Med’s expansion in Japan comes as hotels in other regions step up their efforts to upgrade.
