New Delhi [India], July 9 (ANI/NewsVoir): To encourage safe and responsible use of technology among young people, India Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Koo and CyberPeace Fund A joint initiative “#CybersKool” was launched to build cyber security awareness among Indian youth. The initiative aims to sensitize university students and children across India over the next 11 months to keep the internet and social media safe, secure and reliable.
#CybersKool will host a series of interactive webinars, panel discussions, workshops and competitions focusing on the exchange of information around ethical online practices, online rights and obligations, and responsible online behavior. As an inclusive platform for sharing ideas and perspectives in native languages, Koo will host interactive activities such as tagline writing and quizzes for students to encourage knowledge sharing around online safety. Along with students, other relevant stakeholders such as parents, guardians and staff are expected to be involved in these events. The year-long campaign will conclude with the release of a digital cybersecurity playbook that will draw lessons from #CybersKool. The handbook will be available for students to download and read on the Koo and CyberPeace Foundation websites.
