Bhutan Airlines signs new distribution agreement with Amadeus
Travel sellers around the world can now book Bhutan Airlines flights on the Amadeus Travel Platform. Operating out of Bhutan’s only Paro International Airport, the airline offers daily flights to Bangkok via Kolkata, India, and three weekly flights to Delhi.
This new partnership will help Bhutan Airlines gain visibility among travel sellers around the world, including travel management companies, tour operators, retail travel agencies and online travel agencies.
The airline is undergoing a digital transformation to improve the passenger experience. It recently launched a new in-flight entertainment system that allows passengers to stream entertainment on their own devices. Bhutan Airlines operates two A319 aircraft, each with a capacity of 126 passengers.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Amadeus, which will significantly enhance the overall travel experience for our passengers,” said Pema N Nadik, CEO of Bhutan Airlines. “These new systems are part of our ongoing efforts to improve our service and provide our customers with the highest level of comfort and convenience.”
“We are delighted to add Bhutan Airlines to our list. Amadeus is committed to providing our travel sellers with the widest range of travel content so they can help their customers plan a seamless door-to-door experience for their travel. We believe that the Amadeus Travel Platform will help Bhutan Airlines attract more travelers with the right service and we look forward to supporting the airline’s growth.”
