Australia’s OnlyFans star suffers ‘brain-damaged fall’ in Bali
An Australian DJ has reportedly suffered serious head injuries after “falling down the stairs” while living in Bali.
Lauren Fankhauser, a friend of OnlyFans model Courtney Mills from Melbourne, wrote on a fundraising page created on Monday that she was “in a difficult situation” after being hospitalized with a right brain bleed.
Ms Fankhauser said Ms Mills’ fall initially resulted in a concussion. “After seeking medical attention, they were told everything was fine, but something still didn’t feel right,” she wrote on GoFundMe.
“Desperate for answers, my friend went to a private hospital and found hemorrhage on the right side of their brain.”
Ms. Mills is uninsured and her medical bills have reportedly exceeded $3,000, and friends are trying to raise $5,000 to help pay the bills.
“If you’re familiar with the Australian music scene, you probably know my friend Courtney Mills, a talented DJ who has brought joy and happiness to countless people,” Ms Fankhauser said. “I ask for your help to support them during this challenging time. Any donations you can save will go towards paying for their medical care and potentially saving their lives.”
Ms Fankhauser said Ms Mills was required to stay overnight in hospital for monitoring and to undergo further scans, adding that any support “means the world to my friends and their families”.
DJ involved in previous Bali accident
After another horrific accident in Bali, DJ’s relatives created a GoFundMe to raise money for her medical expenses.
According to a fundraiser created in October 2018, Ms. Mills and her friend Matt Davis were “seriously injured” in a motorcycle accident. Friends said the couple were “lucky to escape with their lives”. Ms Mills was treated and released from hospital, but Mr Davies was “not so lucky” and was forced to undergo surgery due to his injuries. Doctors also found that air was trapped in his skull.
“As many of you know, Bali bike accidents are not covered by travel insurance… Matt’s cost to date has been enormous,” wrote the GoFundMe, which raised $35,000.
