What to expect when flying Allegiant Air

There are a few things to be aware of when flying the Allegiant. Flights start as low as $34 one-way. However, since it is a low-cost airline, there are some restrictions and fees that are not as strict as the larger airlines.

For example, there is a 40-pound limit for checked luggage. Carry-on luggage also costs between $10 and $75 (personal items stowed under the seat are free as long as they don’t exceed the size limit).

Also, it costs $5 to print your boarding pass at the airport (free options include printing at home or using the Allegiant app). Seat selection also comes at a price. Refreshments also start at $3.

Allegiant Air’s new routes give more people the opportunity to travel. These eight routes connect more cities to major international airports. Having more budget-friendly options could also help an industry that has struggled since the pandemic.
