From beautiful beaches and lush rice terraces to rich culture and mouth-watering cuisine, Bali has it all.
Air New Zealand will today resume direct services to the popular Indonesian holiday destination for the first time in three years.
“Bali is one of our most popular routes, with over 17,000 customers flying Air New Zealand to Denpasar in 2019 alone,” said Leanne Geraghty, Air New Zealand Chief Customer and Sales Officer.
Flight NZ64 will depart Auckland at 1200h and will be one of three direct flights to Denpasar within a week from now until the end of seasonal services on October 27.
The service will increase to five times a week during the busy New Zealand winter and school holidays from 26 June to 30 July.
“It’s great to be able to fly direct to Bali, a destination for all types of travelers – whether clients keen to escape the cold by a tropical beach, adventurous families, or couples looking for a romantic, tranquil getaway.”

Bookings have been strong in Bali since the airline announced it would once again fly non-stop to the destination, with more than 10,000 seats sold in the first week.
The airline will fly a 787-9 Dreamliner on its Auckland-Bali route, with business class seats fully lie-flat in the airline’s signature 1-1-1 layout.
Air New Zealand’s 787-9s also feature premium economy in a 2-3-2 configuration and standard economy in a comfortable 3-3-3.
Flights will depart Auckland at 1100 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrive in Bali at 1620 the same day.
The return journey leaves Denpasar at 1730 and returns to Auckland at 0530 the next morning.
