We’ve told you before why you should visit Japan in the summer, and one of the main reasons is the huge fireworks display in Japan, which usually takes place in the summer.
If you’ve been there once, you know how dazzling and incredible fireworks are in Japan. You will be amazed by the number and scale of the fireworks that light up the dark sky.
Depending on the individual festival, some fireworks displays can last up to two hours! These events are usually divided into several sections, which include announcements, offerings and information from the sponsors.
Here are eight summer fireworks displays taking place in Japan this year. Tickets are required for most fireworks festivals, and some offer guaranteed seating. This means you don’t have to bring your own chairs or picnic mat, and you don’t have to stand throughout the show. So, if you want a beautiful and comfortable fireworks viewing scene, be sure to book tickets as early as possible.
