According to data released by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on January 29, more than 871,000 foreigners entered Vietnam in January, a month-on-month increase of 23.2%. Among them, aviation accounted for 91.9%, road accounted for 7.5%, and sea transport accounted for 0.6%.

Tourism revenue for the month was estimated at VND2.2 trillion (US$95.6 million), up 113.4 percent year-on-year. Revenues surged in several places, such as Haiphong by 541.5%, Da Nang by 387.1%, Tien Giang by 380.2%, Lao Cai by 196.3%, Hanoi by 113.8% and Ho Chi Minh City by 98.7%.

International flight and sea travel services have returned to pre-pandemic levels.

This year, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will also cooperate with the south-central coastal province of Binh Thuan to organize the 2023 National Tourism Year with the theme of “Binh Thuan-Green Integration”, which is expected to attract more domestic and foreign tourists.

Recently, the Tourism Information Center of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism launched the first short video in 2023 “Golf Tourism – Enjoy Every Moment” in a media event titled “Vietnam: Travel with Love”, introducing tourists to the wonderful experience of golf tourism – This is a popular trend in Vietnam with great potential.

Vietnam has been named “Asia’s Best Golf Destination” by the World Golf Awards for six consecutive times. Vietnam has a series of first-class, high-quality golf courses that meet international standards, and is confident in bringing unique and challenging golf courses to tourists.
