100,000 tourists flock to Koh Larn over long holiday weekend
The charming little coral island, located near the coastal city of Pattaya, has recently experienced a tourism boom. Reports from Pattaya local authorities and the city government confirmed that the number of tourists traveling from Bali Hainan pier to Coral Island broke through an impressive 100,000 between July 28 and August 2.
Affectionately known as Coral Island, Koh Larn has become a famous destination for both domestic and international tourists. With its stunning beaches, crystal clear waters and abundant marine life, the island offers a wide variety of water sports and leisure activities, attracting tourists from all walks of life.
A staggering 25,008 tourists were attracted to the island on 29 July, underscoring the growing popularity of Koh Larn as the region’s premier tourist hotspot.
Local businesses and tour operators welcome the influx of tourists as it brings considerable economic prosperity to the region. However, with tourist numbers increasing significantly, authorities are carefully monitoring the situation to protect the island’s infrastructure and natural resources from potential stress.
Despite the challenges of managing such a massive tourist influx, tourists are drawn to the island’s allure and charm. The irresistible appeal of Koh Larn has sparked intense interest in tourism to Pattaya and its neighboring provinces, offering enthusiastic travelers countless unforgettable travel experiences.
As the tourist season continues, the local government is working hard to ensure tourists enjoy the best possible experience while protecting the island’s fragile ecological balance. Visitors are encouraged to follow the guidelines set by the authorities to preserve the natural beauty of this tropical paradise for future generations.
